Joan Judith Reinke's Online Guestbook

To the Reinke Family, I am mso sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Joan from
when she was a resident of Villa Pines and I have many memories of Joan. I
am a Activity Assistant and Joan would attend all the activities, her
favorite being Spiritual music and Current events. Joan would sing all the
hymns by heart and had such a beautiful voice. I also remember her just
saying the words out loud when I was having trouble pronouncing a word
during Current Events. Joan also loved to be outside just enjoying the
weather. Joan taught me that you can find beauty in anything. Even a
pinecone. I will always remeber Joan. Danene Quigley

I took care of joan at moundview memorial hospital on the extended care
unit. She was a wonderful lady. We would walk up and down the halls and she
would hum her toons and sing with me. She will be missed.

Dear Reinke family, We wish you the peace of God during this difficult
time in your loss of a beautiful lady. I got to know Joan when she
attended worship services at Villa Pines. She always enjoyed singing
special music with us. While we have all heard of people who play by ear,
Joan had this incredible ability to "sing by ear." She would harmonize
beautifully on songs with which she was unfamiliar and could follow the
words just a milisecond after us. She exuded joy in her life and caused it
to rub off on others. Even when she did not remember who we were, she was
always pleasant. When we began taking her to church with us, her
desire to share her musical ability ministered to us and many others. We
thank God that we had the blessing of knowing Joan, if only for a short
while.
