  1. Kathy McCarthy says:

I am at a loss. I was Tony’s 6th grade teacher and we had kind of a special, quirky bond. I loved his “wiser than his years” humor and his interest in music, I chatted with him online maybe 4-5 years ago and we cracked each other up discussing our preferences in toilet paper. I said to Tony, “I cannot believe we are talking about this,” and he responded, “I know, Mrs. Mac, we always could laugh about the weirdest stuff.” I am heartbroken and so very sorry for your loss of your tremendously unique son.

  2. Carol Agee says:

    Bridget, Randy, Joanna and family,
No words can express my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your son, and brother, Tony. I will always remember him as sweet, kind, smart, thoughtful and helpful young man, so full of life. I remember when he used to come and fix my computer. And how he just couldn’t believe how I could survive without a microwave . He was so talented and a decent young man. It is so very sad that he was taken so young. I cannot imagine the pain you all are going through. May God hold him and you all, in his heart and bring him to everlasting life. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
    With our deepest sympathy.
    Carol Agee and family

  10. Auntie Heidi Hetzel (Gorman) says:

Randy, Jolene, Bridget, Joanna, and extended family. I can’t tell you how blessed I was to have Anthony as a nephew. It was almost a year since I saw him with Jo in Columbus. From the first time I saw him, he entered my heart and brought me joy at at a time in my life where I was struggling to be an adult. I was just 23 going on 24 myself . I couldn’t wait to hold him. From changing his diapers to him being my little disc jocky at my wedding at 4 yrs old, watching him in “The Sound of Music” then becomming my co-heart in our Love for Stevie Nicks, and coming and helping me with the kids when I couldn’t after surgery, he has filled his place in my heart like no other. Tony will always be the boy/man with the Golden Heart, a heart too huge for this world as it has become. The Lord has embraced him and all the good that he has done for everyone. He will be terribly missed. I can’t stop the tears. I live and miss you all!!

  11. Sue Eager says:

Bridget, JoAnna and Randy & family, I don’t know where to start with the grief you must be feeling right now. I can’t imagine losing a child or a sibling at such a young age. What I will remember about Tony was the time, Bridget, that my daughter and I came down to visit you and we went to Olive Garden. While there with you and Tony, we watched that car burn in the parking lot. And I will remember the times on FB that Tony would send me a note or a picture and we’d banter back and forth. All that is gone now and only will be memories. My heart bleeds for the loss. He’s in a good place now, free of pain and worries. He leaves behind many empty hearts and I know you’re all missing him immensely. Keeping you in thoughts and prayers and love.

  12. Kathy & Ken Ganster says:

Tony was a great friend of mine. We loved shooting guns together when we could now I cant bother you about when you were going to sell me that 22lr rugger you had that I loved and wanted. I’m so shocked your gone brother I’m going to miss your random calls to me. I thank you so much for being there for me when Jeff died. Now your gone an it hasn’t hit me hard yet but it’s settling in. I did not want to lose another brother but here we are. Rest in peace my friend if you see Jeff let him know I’m mourning you an him now.
Now to Tony’s parents I’m so sorry for you’re loss tony was a great person an I’m going to miss the hell out of him he Kent a lot to me an Nicole. I know by experience that sorry don’t bring him back I wish it would. He was a good friend of mine an I can’t believe he left us behind. I was close to him. If I haven’t met you before believe I will be introducing myself an Nicole to you the day of the funeral. Also I will leave my email if you would like to contact me. He was a great stand up person. An in this world its hard to come by. I’m going to miss him to death. An if you would like to get in touch with me I will speak to you at the funeral. I will also leave my email for you both to contact me if you want. I know its hard losing your son. For the past almost 4 years I’ve known Tony I watched my friend Jeff’s mother mourn her child. I’m happy to say your son helped make it through that tough time in my life. In fact he was still someone I talked to regularly about my friend who passed an he was a person that listened when anyone wanted to vent to him. Again I’m sorry an I hope you see this message because I would like to talk to you guys because tony was a close friend of mine. I don’t think I’m going to get over this either like I haven’t with my best friend passing. But my best wishes goto you. Your kid was a great person. Someone I’ll never forget. I’m sorry he left all of us that cared about him dearly.
