Carolyn Barton
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 406 East Lake St., Friendship, WI 53934. Bishop Jack Ramsell will officiate. Interment will be at the Big Flats Cemetery.
Visitation will Saturday, May 6th, at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Carolyn was born May 25, 1943, in Chicago, IL to Robert and Sidonia Erbstoesser. She was a graduate of Fenton High School. She married Merlyn Barton on January 6th, 1965. Carolyn worked as an LPN nurse in Arizona. After retirement, she spent her summers in Adams, WI, and winters in Arizona.
Carolyn enjoyed embroidery, playing Farmville, spending time with her family and her church family.
Survivors in her sons: Raymond (Theresa) Barton, David (Debbie) Barton, Jared(Bridgette) Barton, Justin (Miki) Barton; daughter, Betsy (Robert) Boggs; brothers: Russell (Pamela) Erbstoesser and James (Diane) Erbstoesser; sister, Jean (Angelo) DeMonte. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Merlyn Barton, mother Sidonia Erbstoesser, father Robert Erbstoesser, son Wesley Barton, and daughter Carolyn Barton.
