Evelyn Mae Ebsen
Evelyn Mae Ebsen (nee Huffman), age 78, of Oxford, Wisconsin died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at her home in Oxford, Wisconsin.
Memorial services were 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, Wisconsin. Pastor Brenda Pulver officiated. Visitation was 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.
Interment was at the Easton Cemetery, Town of Easton, Adams County, Wisconsin.
Evelyn was born February 28, 1941 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Jacob and Martha (Cromer) Huffman. As a young lady, Evelyn wanted to become a secretary. After High School, she attended Forsyth Technical College in Winston-Salem, NC where she learned her secretarial skills. Evelyn worked as a secretary at several firms with Medical Transportation being her favorite.
Evelyn married William Wolfe Sr. on July 31, 1959. This marriage ended in divorce after 51 years.
On May 26, 2018 Evelyn married Kenneth Dean Ebsen in Oxford, Wisconsin. Evelyn enjoyed card making and loved listening to country music. Evelyn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Evelyn was preceded in death by parents, and sister, Barbara.

Kenny I am so sorry for your loss. I know that you will miss her very much. I miss her too. May the Lord wrap his arms around you and heal your pain. Just remember someday we will all get to see her again. That will be a joyous day for all of us in heaven. Thank you so much for giving her such a wonderful time in her life!! She was really blessed when you came along and you made her feel whole again. She was such a wonderful person that had been through a lot, but she kept her head up high and prayed about everything that mattered to her. I was just a good friend, but she was more like family to me! I will always love her and never forget her!! I am so glad that you two met, because of you her life was very happy!! God bless you for being there for her!!!

Oh, Kenny! I’m so sorry for your loss! I enjoyed meeting Evelyn, and loved chatting with her on-line about her new-found love of gardening and canning. My deepest condolences to You Kenny and Family . She loved you dearly . She said so on the phone of nearly 2 hrs of conversation. Her heart was truly filled and content with happiness when she took your hand in marriage. You made her dream come true . Thank you Kenny for being so good to her and dedicated loving man you are . Deepest condolences Kenny. You were a wonderful husband and caretaker to Evelyn. She deeply loved a cherished you. May God be with in the coming weeks and months. She was a very special lady. I am so thankful that she was my first cousin who I sincerely loved. Many condolences to the Wolfe family as well.
