Robert A. Wearing, “Grumpy” age 83, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Liberty Village in Adams, Wisconsin.

A celebration of Grumpy’s life will be Sunday, July 26, 2020, at DJ’s Bar & Grill in White Creek beginning at 12:00 Noon with military honors and prayer at 12:30 p.m. A luncheon will follow. All of Grumpy’s family and friends are welcome.

Grumpy was born June 5, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Arthur and Rose (Rekowski) Wearing. He served in the United States Army and was later honorably discharged. He married Marlene Treuden and they had three children Julie, Kim, and Robert. Grumpy drove truck for many years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, gambling, truck driving, and playing Bingo.

Grumpy was preceded in death by the love of his life, Marlene Wearing; parents, Arthur & Rose Wearing; grandson, Brandon Matthias; brothers, and sister.

Survivors include his daughters, Julie (Richard Julson) Giessel of White Creek, WI; Kim (Kevin) Matthias of Poynette, WI; son, Robert J. Wearing Jr. of Milwaukee, WI; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, step-children,  Cindy Brigham (Bobby), Tony (Mary) Spath, step-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Kim Matthias, W10862 Tipperary Rd. Poynette, WI 53955.
