Ruth Sainsbury
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Prayer service will be held immediately after visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Big Creek Cemetery, LaValle, Wisconsin.
Ruth was born November 21, 1923, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Fred and Rose (Lentz) Redlin. She married Norman Sainsbury on July 28, 1952, in Racine, Wisconsin. Ruth enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, gambling, crocheting, knitting, playing cards, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of United in Christ Lutheran Church, and a lifetime member of the Dellwood Snowmobile Club.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Norman, parents Fred & Rose, grandson Bryan Rahn Jr., son-in-law Bryan Rahn Sr., daughter-in-law Susan Sainsbury, and sister Agnes (Willis) Streine.
Survivors include her children Ruth Ann Rahn, Ronald (Susan) Fiegel, Albert (Susan) Fiegel, Wayne Sainsbury, Jean (Gary) Koessl and brother Robert Redlin; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Deepest sympathy to all the family on Ruth’s passing. She lived a full and happy life. Will always remember her and Norm visiting my folks on the farm. They both loved to fish so much. I think they could talk fishing in their sleep. Prayers and hugs to all.
So sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. I used play cards with Ruth and Norm at Spot in the Woods. Those 2 were very kind to me when I was going through a rough time. RIP Ruth.
So sorry to hear about Ruth passing. Our deepest sympathies to the family. Ruth was such a sweet and kind lady. I will never forget how much Norm and Ruth loved to fish. I never forgot the time my dad, grandpa, uncle and I traveled to Canada on a fishing trip along with Norm and Ruth. They would go out on the lake in the morning and stay out fishing all day. Ruth is in heaven with Norm now and I’m sure they are fishing together again.

We enjoyed playing euchre at Spot in the Woods with Ruth & Norman. We saw Ruth a few times in the past years out for a fish fry with her son. Always a pleasant lady. She lived a long life. RIP Ruth.
I remember Ruth and Norman stopping by the Four Seasons Mini Mart to by bait to go fishing . They were both so nice and loved each other deeply. They will be together again. My sympathy to the family .

Our deepest sympathy to the Sainsbury family. Ruth and Norman were my family’s neighbors here in Dellwood. Through the years, they watched us grow, marry, and have children of our own. Ruth and Norm gave us our very 1st snowmobile rides in the 1970’s, picked strawberries every summer, and shared corn on the cob with us city kids! Ruth is now in heaven with Normie and we can all say….they made a lasting impression in this life! Prayers to the family
