Gloria and family, I am so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
KP and I dealt with numerous tragedies in Adams County for decades. Some even included our own families. Even before I knew him, he covered the accident where I lost my mother in an auto accident as I was in Vietnam. I first met Ken April 1974 when I was hired at the Adams S.O. I soon learned he was the “Go to Guy” for all that worked with him. After he retired I learned the other side of him watching him enjoy his family and recreation. He still continued to be there for you when you needed him. He was a friend, neighbor, and brother. He will be missed by me and so many others. So many memories.
I just heard of Ken’s passing and want to send my deepest sympathy to all of the family. Kenny was a great guy and will be missed by many of ux. May time help you heal from this loss.

Kenny, I hope you and Dad (Roger Ribbke Sr) have the chance to bs about your days on the force together. I know he thought a lot of you. May you rest well. You have earned it.
We will be missing a great neighbor and friend. Our memories and interactions were many… Often he would text and ask if we could “help” him out. Gloria had made too many apples pies!!! We of course would gladly do what we needed to do. Kenny’s job was peeling the apples and eating the pie! He would say Gloria got carried away in the kitchen. How he loved “blaming” her!!
He will be missed.
