To Reo’s family & friends~ I am so saddened to see this. I am thinking of y’all and praying God will comfort y’alls broken hearts. 🙏💔🙏
I was from the Class of ‘92 and our freshman year, Reo had a locker by mine. I always found him to be so nice and had a smile for me. I could tell he hurt deep down and his rough exterior made me want to be a kinder person. We all have struggles that others don’t know about and he always showed me kindness back. I was so glad to be friends and reconnect on Facebook over the years. There were many times I could see he was struggling and I would try to lift him up and tell him things will get better and I was praying for him. He wasn’t too crazy about the praying but he would kindly say whatever works for you! 😉 But deep down I know I made a difference in his life & he did in mine. 😢 As, I write this it brings me to tears because I did get to know him on a different level and he had a wonderful heart. ♥️ I’m not sure why his life was cut short but I pray that God seen what I seen in him and he’s at peace now. He so desperately searched for that. 🙏 I talked him into coming to our 25th Class reunion at Carlsons and he really didn’t want to go and said I won’t know anyone or no one will remember me. I told him I do and I will be there and would love to introduce you to my husband and there will be people that will remember you. Well, guess what he came and we had such a good time reminiscing about old times, some of the trouble he got into 😉 😂 and what we were doing now. He told my husband and I about his trip to Colorado on his bike and he was full of smiles and laughter! I will forever cherish that night, as he was the happiest I had seen him compared to that shy rough exterior he showed when we were young. You will be missed, my friend! There are certain people in our lives that leave a print on our hearts and we will never forget them. I’m praying he knew his worth and the love he had to give. 🙏♥️✝️🙏 Rest easy Reo and know that you mattered more than you realize. Forever a friend and biggest of hugs~Michelle
