Richard Dale Sather

Richard Dale Sather, age 74, died on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Adams, Wisconsin.

He was born on January 19, 1949 in Elkhorn, WI  to Severt R. and Edna L. (Lusch) Sather.  Rick was in the Coast Guard and served in the Vietnam War.  He was a truck driver and owned his own trucking company and liquor store.  He went back to school for AMP (Aviation Maintenance Program).

Richard enjoyed watching NASCAR, cooking shows, summer time sports, and British comedies.  He also loved spending time with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents:  Severt and Edna Sather; his brother,  William “Bill” Sather; and sisters: Kristy “Fud” Sather and Kay Kissinger.

Richard is survived by his wife, Mary K. Sather; children:  Shannon D. Sather (Beverly), William R. Sather, and Nikita L. Sather; his two grandchildren:  Mason Sather and Ava Sather; brother, John Sather (Ellen); sister, Ann Davis (Rich); and six nieces and nephews.
