It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James L. Haensgen, who peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the age of 73, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Born on November 16, 1950, James, fondly known as Jim, made significant contributions to the computer industry throughout his career. His professional journey took him to various locations, including Juarez, Mexico, from 2003 to 2007, and Muscoda, WI. Jim’s expertise and dedication were evident in every endeavor he pursued. Beyond his professional life, James found joy in various pursuits that enriched his personal journey. A passionate online gamer, he forged deep connections through shared adventures with friends and his stepchildren Dustin and Devan. His love for exploration led him to indulge in his favorite pastime of traveling, embracing the wonders of the world.
An avid lover of the outdoors, James found solace and fulfillment in tending to his plants and gardening. His green thumb was a testament to his nurturing spirit, and the beauty he cultivated will forever stand as a living tribute to his memory.
James is survived by his long-time love, Vickie, of Richland Center, WI, and two step-children, Dustin Markin and Devan Markin, both of Richland Center. His enduring legacy extends to other relatives and friends who were touched by his warmth, kindness, and unwavering presence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth.
A celebration of James Haensgen’s life will take place to honor the man who brought joy, wisdom, and love to all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his remarkable journey.
