Arlene was born December 27, 1945 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Harold and Willoween “Billie” (Austin) Hammond. With her two beloved brothers Raymond and Bruce and their parents they loved camping on the shores of Lake Michigan. Arlene was quite a water bug and she loved s’mores and campfires.
She married Craig Daniel Graham on June 11, 1966 in Whittaker, Michigan. For their honeymoon they vacationed at her families beloved cottage on Birch Lake. This is where Arlene caught the trophy fish not Craig. Together Arlene and Craig created a family with daughters Tamela(Tammy) and Sherri. Mom was well known by her daughter’s friends for the best Nestle mud bars and rice crispy treats. She also was know to teach both daughters how to dance in the kitchen while playing her 45’s.
Arlene’s love for Christ was shared with her family and as a Sunday School teacher, a member of Women’s Ministries and volunteering at the Assembly of God church.
Arlene’s love of quilting turned into a ministry as she made multiple quilts that were donated anonymously to families in need throughout Adams Co. through Social Services. This lead is how the Adams Community Quilters was created
A celebration of life will be held with family and friends this summer

Very sorry for the sadness her family is walking through right now. She was a lovable, giving, hardworking and kind lady. I saw Jesus in the way she loved the kids. She was a fierce fighter for her family! She was also gracious and kind and generous to those in need.
I’ve been putting off texting this;.. as I don’t want to acknowledge or BELIEVE??… this?
My dear friend of almost 50 years; ever since they moved to Adams. We raised our kids together, worked in Girl Scouts Tog. Even having them Fly-up to next level by walking over other side of the Friendship Bridge. We were at each others houses…. several times a week for coffee and Treats ( of course ) for years!!., until they graduated High School . Spent many trips to Rapids for shopping, lunches, We did..,.,way back ,..of beginnings ,..of first Quilt group at Church with about 5-6 ladies.. and our first Quilt was for Marie and Gordy ‘s first daughter Rebecca ?
After moving to Madison we met every so often for lunch and of course??.. a huge piece of Hommmade PIE ???at,.the Eagles Nest restaurant ,.,in Prairie Du Sac , and Baraboo .. and especially behind, Culver’s and.. sitting down by the (Down by river).. Restaurant part.
Always thought ?..she would be here longer than me ? As I was 5 years older?
To Dear Craig, Tammy, Sherry and all the children and grandchildren. You have my deepest and saddest heart.. for my dear friend Arleen..

Mrs. Graham (Mom Arlene) is a beautiful memory in my childhood 😊 I remember going over to Tammy and Sherry – staying the night being crazy teen teenage girls. We made her giggle and laugh and many times roll her eyes and she only showed love for us all
God Speed.

So very sorry for your families loss. I enjoyed many years quilting with Arlene at Community Quilting in the beginning years of the quilting group. She was a very sweet lady, and I will always remember her fondly. May God give you strength during this very difficult time.
