Chris, In the words of Queen Elizabeth , which I spoke at my own mother’s Celebration of Life, “Grief is the price we pay for love”. And what we have left is to feel grateful for that love and it’s memories.
I am so sorry for your loss, and I wish for you the comfort that time brings.
Two years later, I smile and laugh when I think about my mom more than I cry, but I still do. And you will too, and that’s OK. May your father forever rest in peace and Grace. With warmest thoughts, Alicia.
