James Gregory

James Leo Gregory 7/24/1939 to 8/21/2024. Born in Torrington WY, raised in Greeley CO. Served in the US Navy 1957 to 1961. Settled in Blackwell OK, in retirement moved to Oklahoma City, & upon being widowed he relocated to Adams Co. WI.

Survived by his 4 children: Jim Jr., Maureen, Cathy (Mike), & Douglas (Keri); 3 siblings: Deloris, Richard, & Cecil, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, multitudes of nieces & nephews, & special friends Carol & Rita.

Preceded in death by his wife Kathy Rose Gregory; parents Ava Gregory & Lillie Jones Gregory; siblings Ava Jr., Freidth, Velma, Edna, Berniece, Raymond, Betty, & Cloyde; & 3 former wives Billie, Charlotte, & Patricia.

No services per Jim’s request.

Donations may be made to American Legion Post 250 Red Cloud, 207 N Main St, Friendship WI 53934.

    Jim was one of my favorite clients. His haircuts were quick but I’d keep him around a little longer just to hear his stories. He could put a smile on anyone’s face, especially with the candy he always pulled out of his pocket. You’ll be missed Jim! I hope you get to watch all of the birds up there.

    I’m so sorry to hear about Jim. We always enjoyed seeing him at the library. He was cheerful and fun and it was a pleasure seeing him. Loved his handfuls of hard candy too! RIP, Jim.
