Joan Zaremba

Joan L. Zaremba, of Rome, Wisconsin, passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on September 12, 1940, to Harold and Edith VanAlstine, who preceded her in death.

Joan’s life was filled with love and devotion to her family. She is survived by her children: Sheila Stultz, Jeffery Parr, Debbie Studey, and John Zaremba. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Kristy Studey; Matthew Graf (Kelli); Ashley Nelson (Kenny); Jennifer Stultz; Mackenzie Stultz (Cole); Joshua Parr (Ashley); and Ashley Zaremba (Tony). Her legacy also includes nine cherished great-grandsons: Ryan, Zack, Carter, Parker, Jordy, Maverick, Jameson, Maddox, and Malakai.

Joan is also survived by her brother, Richard VanAlstine, and her nephews, Daniel and Tim. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol, and her nephew Keith.

A private family service will be held at a later date to honor Joan’s life. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
