Judith Mae Alcorn
On June 1 2025 my life and many others was changed forever, upon the sad news of Judy’s passing. After a short but hard struggle with ovarian cancer an outcome all too familiar occurred.
Judith was 76 years old, born in Marinette, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Irene Nolde. She was one member of a large family consisting of siblings Joanne (Dennis), Dennis (Tina), Jackie (John), Dean (fiancé Jean), Janine, Doug (Jen), and Duane (Amy).
Judy spent the majority of her life growing up in the Sussex, WI area. She attended St. James Church and graduated from Sussex Hamilton in 1967. She then spent 16 years working at the high school, mostly as a guidance office secretary. In 1985, Judy was united in marriage to Chuck Alcorn and together ran his family’s business Aero Park for the next 19 years. The land was sold in 2004 and Chuck and Judy semi retired to their happy place “Big Green Lake”. They also enjoyed traveling throughout the beautiful state of Wisconsin.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Chuck, her many siblings, daughter Jill (Jason), stepchildren Lisa, Brian and Mike; grandkids Gina, Emily, Sarah, Shane, Carson, Brenden and Gabe; great grandchild, Saanvi; nieces and nephews and lastly, her BFF Sharon Gilpin.
To those that knew Judy they were rewarded with truly a good person, full of laughter and warmth who had a great zest for life. She also longed to be remembered once in a while by her friends as time passes. We all wish she has found peace in her new life as she opens her much-deserved wings.
Judy has decided to be cremated and laid to rest next to her mother in Sunnyside Cemetery. A family celebration of life will follow at a later date.
Special appreciation to the staff and doctors at Froedtert Cancer Center, ThedaCare Oncology, and Heartland Hospice.
Again, my deepest sympathies go out to all of the Nolde family. 😔
