  3. Jason Knight says:

He was maybe 3 or 4 when Dot sent him nextdoor to knock on my door, because I was the same age and he wanted someone to play with. For the next 20 years, he was my best friend.
We had a disagreement that went on far to long, and I lost track of my friend. I would make half hearted attempts to find him again, to put it behind us and make amends.
Today I have found out that I will never get that chance now.
Growing up together, Robert had my back. He didn’t like school that much, and didn’t like hanging out with a crowd, but if he was your friend, you never had to question his loyalty. He would fight for you.
I will miss you, my friend.

  4. Bob Davis says:

I would like to start out with how Rob was a true renaissance man. He would make and create so many different things. It was amazing. One of my fondest memories of Rob was when I came home after work one day and he says look at me Bob I’m going mow the grass without pushing my push mower. He attached a skateboard to the back of the mower and as soon as he hit go. He fell flat on his ass. Laughing the whole time. And when I had a broken foot he made sure I got to go fishing at lake Andrea. Thanks Rob for all the good times.

My sincere sympathy to Roberts family. He was always such a polite young man when we would see each other. He would always tell me how he appreciated coming to the farm, to hang out, when he lived down the road from us. I am glad I could be a part of his memories in his younger years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May the Great Spirit Above, along with our Heavenly Father hold all of you ever so close and give you comfort.
