Jerry L. Withers
Born on March 12, 1963, in Clarion, Iowa, Jerry attended Necedah High School before answering the call to serve his nation. He proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic, where he demonstrated honor, discipline, and commitment. His time in the military shaped his values and deepened his appreciation for service and sacrifice.
Jerry was a man of the outdoors. Whether it was hunting, trapping, or fishing, he found peace and purpose in nature. His love for the land and its rhythms was a defining part of who he was.
He is survived by his children: Tony Jones, Jim Withers, Dustin Withers, and Aaron Withers.
He also leaves behind a large and loving family of siblings: Rick Withers, Guy Withers, Darwin Withers, Jeff Borths, Rusty Borths, Donny Borths, Theresa Borths, Wendy Withers, Jody Day, Dee Schell, and Wade Withers.
Jerry was preceded in death by his son Ryan Withers, his father Wayne Withers, his mother Darlene Borths, and siblings Sherry Adcock, Janese Withers, David Withers, and Nylene Howell.
Jerry will be remembered for his quiet wisdom, his love of the outdoors, and the deep bonds he shared with those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Per Jerry’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Family and friends are encouraged to honor Jerry’s memory in their own way, perhaps by spending time outdoors or reflecting
on the moments shared together.
Sending sincere condolences to the Withers family during this difficult time. May you find peace in the memories you share of Jerry.
