Peter James Niesing, age 84, passed away on January 12, 2026. He was born on June 24, 1941, to Gottlieb and Edna Niesing, who preceded him in death.
Peter proudly served in the United States Navy and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and camping with his family.
He is survived by his sister, Meredith; his children, Laura Lee Niesing, Peter J. Niesing, and Robert M. Niesing; grandchildren Rachel, Trevor, Cassandra, Broderick, Dylan, and Cain; and great-grandchildren Willow Lee and Duke John. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Cain.
Peter will be remembered for his devotion to family, service to his country, and love of the outdoors.
