Mark Colburn
Mark was born on December 20, 1954, in Portage, Wisconsin, to Delores “Lolly” R. Colburn and Thaine A. Colburn. Mark enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1975 and served on the USS Harold E. Holt. He was honorably discharged in August 1977. Mark had a love of old cars, especially his cherished 1970 Chevelle. Mark enjoyed spending time with his close friends, researching parts for his Chevelle and going to various car shows with friends.
SurviVors include his brothers, Scott (Kathy) Colburn of Friendship, and Allan Colburn of Vancouver, Washington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Thaine Albert and Delores Rose Colburn, stepmother Gloria Mae Colburn and nephews Robert Colburn and David Colburn.
Per Mark’s wishes, no funeral services will be held; however, a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
This breaks my heart. Mark was a good friend, kind person, with a good sense of humor, and he was a Sky Liner. Lots of good times.

Sorry for the family’s loss. Ive known Mark my entire life and loved how he would always try to put on a mean mug and stern face and try to scare us as kids but then he’d laugh and smile and you knew all was good. Grew up seeing him quite a bit but lost touch in these later years… I wish id been able to give him one more hug. Such a great guy with a big, kind heart who was always there for his friends! Thanks for the memories Mark. Give Heaven some good times and rest easy my friend.
Mark, I know you and my dad Patrick “Buck” Witcraft are in heaven talking n playing with your cars, zooming around town maybe having a beer or 2. And I also remember you walking to work at the Chevy garage throughout my life. I’m sad to hear you past away.. this breaks my heart as mom n I was just talking how we haven’t saw or heard anything of you. And 2 days later I heard you passed away on the 14th of January…..

So sorry for your loss. I hope God blesses him and his family. I lived across the street from him in Adams we talked and we both helped each other when we could. He was a good friend and I will miss him not being across the street. He always told me he was wasting air but I always told him he wasn’t. God bless him and his family always.
