Robert M. Corbett
A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Robert was born on April 19, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, to Leroy and Carol (Stephens) Corbett. He dedicated 26 years to the Public Works Department in Schaumburg, Illinois, where he worked in the landscaping division prior to his retirement.
Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs and could often be found relaxing in his favorite recliner, enjoying a game. He found great joy in the outdoors—camping, tinkering with cars, and puttering around outside. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock and spending time socializing with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years, Sandra; children, Kristin (Michael), Brent, and Christopher; his grandchildren, Margaret and Riley; two brothers, Lee and David; two sisters, Debra and Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.
Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences and further information are available at www.roseberrys.com.
Bob….one of a kind. Going to miss him. His smile. His laugh. The way he looked at Sandy you just knew he loved her. Death seems so unfair as Bob and Sandy found their happiness with their new home, talks of getting a small pull behind and do some close to home camping. Richard will miss Bob as those two wouldn’t see each other for months and when together, picked up where they left off and have an hour conversation. Sandy, here for you when ever you need to talk. Rest in Heavenly Peace our friend, Bob.
It was a very unfortunate information about bob’s passing. I worked with bob for about 28 years.Until he retired.
He was one of the closest friends that I had at public works who was a friend. Unconditionally. We spent many days together outside of work. God bless you Sandy thank you for bringing the joy into his life? Once the both of you got married he’s told me how much he love and adored his wife Sandy. He will be sorely missed.
Condolences to friends and family of Bob, I started a few weeks apart from Bob in 1987 at the Village of Schaumburg. Bob was always a pleasure to work with and just have a casual conversation. Bob was a hard worker and dedicated his family and friends. I do agree for a Packers fan he was well loved. 🙂 Bob will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
One of the nicest guys I ever met and worked with. Bob never had a bad word to say about anyone and treated everyone with respect. He will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends.
I enjoyed working with Bob fun to be around my condolences to you all
So sorry to hear about Bobs passing I was his boss at Schaumburg Public Works He was a great guy. Worked with him for 26 years I enjoyed his out look on life. Even though he was a Packers fine. He will be missed and may he rest in peace
