Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Easton Cemetery, Town of Easton, Adams County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Jane was born on August 14, 1935, in White Creek, Wisconsin to William and Mildred (Hayes) Reichhoff. She had a twin sister June. She married John Boer on November 8, 1952, in Adams, Wisconsin. The couple enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Jane did childcare and took nurses aid training, working briefly at Villa Pines nursing home before becoming a cook at Friendship Middle School for many years up until her retirement. Jane was a member of the Adams United Church of Christ and taught Sunday School; she was also a member of the Friendship Eastern Star.
She enjoyed taking care of her vegetable and flower gardens, canning, fishing, camping, cooking & baking especially for her family and friends and kids at school. Her Grandchildren called her “Grandma cake” because she always made them wonderful Birthday cakes.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents William and Mildred Reichhoff, husband John; Brothers: Robert (Shirley) Hayes, William (Agnes) Reichhoff, Infant twin brothers Dale & Donald Reichhoff; Sisters: Shirley (Robert) Kunkle, Blanche (Darwin) Smith, Rose (Victor) Baumel; Twin sister June (Herb) Gulrud; In-laws John & Hazel Boer; Brothers-in-law Edward Laabs, Roger Boer, Donald Boer, Sisters-in-law Isabel Bilodeau, Betty Rose, Doris (Ken) Collins.
Survivors include her children: John (Patricia) Boer of Rexford, MT., Wanda (Dennis) Hoefle of Madison, WI., Denise (Dennis) Cochrane of Adams, WI.; Karen Boer of Port Edwards, WI. Grandchildren: Christopher Boer of Eureka, MT., Alex (Samantha Fletcher) Boer of Wisconsin Rapids, Jeremy Hoefle & Joshua Hoefle of Middleton, WI.; Great-grandchildren: William Boer and Evienne Boer.
Bonus Grandchildren: Dennis (Mary) Cochrane, Machelle Murnane, Holly (Greg) Smith, Kara (Morgan Haynes) Kosmoski and 11 bonus Great-grandchildren & several bonus Great-great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law Robert Rose; Sister-in-law Ellen Reichhoff. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
