Christine Blackford
Christine was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. To know Christine was to love her. She had the kindest soul and the softest heart, always putting others before herself no matter what she was facing. Despite enduring many hardships throughout her life, she remained loving, selfless, accepting, and full of grace. She had a way of making people feel safe, cared for, and deeply loved.
Christine was known for her quick wit, warm heart, and gentle soul. She brought light and comfort everywhere she went, and her kindness left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Many lovingly referred to her as “Mom” or “Nana,” not because they had to, but because she made everyone feel like family.
Family was everything to Christine. She loved deeply, fiercely, and unconditionally, and there was nothing she would not have done for the people she loved. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter with her whole heart, and made each of them feel endlessly loved, supported, and important.
She is survived by her sons, David (Shayda) Blackford and Darren (Tonya) Blackford; her grandchildren Alexis, Cloe, Molly, Olivia, Emily, Naara, Rhema, and Judah, and her great-granddaughter Amira. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Desi Blackford, who remained forever in her heart.
Christine was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and found comfort in believing she would one day be reunited in Heaven with Desi and free from all pain. While her family’s hearts are broken by this loss, they find peace in knowing she is finally at rest.
She will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
