Richard Keller

Richard Keller, age 82, of Adams, WI passed away on May 27 following a long battle with chronic illness.

He was born on September 14th, 1943 in Madison, Wi, the son of William and Eunice (Pedley) Keller. He was united in marriage to Josephine Gulvik on July 21, 1962. They were blessed with their son Jeffery and daughters Kimberly and Tina. He worked for Octopus Car Washes in Madison, WI for many years until he purchased his own in Monona, WI. When he sold the car wash, he purchased apartment buildings in DeForest, WI. He and his wife managed the buildings until the time they retired. Richard was very hard working and liked to be busy.

He also had a large heart for animals. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, curling, playing games, traveling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Josephine, son Jeffery (Lori), daughters Kimberly and Tina, six grandchildren; Justin, Jamie, Sara, Jacob, Kaylee and Tyler, as well as nine great-grandchildren; Cayde, Isaak, Kian, Kolson, Charlotte, Braydon, Nora, Thea and Archer; brother-in-law Ronald Paskey and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Eunice, brothers William (Kris), Roger (Arlene), Donald (Rose) and Robert (Mona), sisters Lee Hamilton (Donald), Jackie West (Harold), Susan Walstad (Hans) and Sandra Paskey (Ronald).

    Hi Josephine, Kim and family. Richard will be missed terribly, but he is no longer having the pain. Bless his sole. We all became like family as we all do in dialysis. We send our prayers to you all. May Richard rest in peace.

    I have fond memories of Uncle Richard from my first job at the Octopus Car Wash in Madison to attending Packers games and listening to 50’s/60’s music with him and Aunt Josephine at a local pub in Green Bay. Kathy and I want to extend our sincere condolences to Jo, Jeff, Kimberly, and Tina and all who mourn his passing.
