Lorraine Clemans

Lorraine Clemans of Friendship, formerly of Stone Bank, age 89, went to be with the Lord on October 28th, 2010. Lorraine was born August 6th, 1921 to Walter and Myrtle (Auler) Hintz. She married Orval Clemans February 9th, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa. They made their home in Stone Bank, WI. They had four children: Shirley, Beverly, Sharon and Daniel. While the children were small, Lorraine was a stay at home Mom. She enjoyed her family, gardening, music, bowling, visiting with neighbors and dancing, especially the polka. After the children were older, she cleaned houses and then went to work at Amron in Waukesha. She moved to Adams County in May of 2006.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, two brothers, two sons-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.

Lorraine is survived by daughters: Shirley (Dick) Mazurek of Oconomowoc, WI; Bev Ward of Adams, WI, and Sharon (Allan) Bartelt of Naples, Florida; son, Daniel (Connie) Clemans of Stone Bank, WI; sister, Audrey Knutson of Florida; sisters-in-law: Gloria Hintz of Waukesha and Dorothy Ellingson of Kennan, WI; brother-in-law, Floyd Clemans of Watertown; granddaughters: Lori Ward of Friendship, Patti Warren of Friendship, Kristin (Rick) Carey of Mukwonago, Carrie Ann (Tony) Groll of Hartford, Danielle (Steve) Wertz of Hartford; grandsons: Marty Smith of Stone Bank, and Keith (Tawnya) Ream of Fort Hood, Texas; and 13 great-grandchildren. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Oconomowoc, WI. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Special thanks to her granddaughter, LORI WARD, for being her loving caregiver since May 2006. We feel very blessed with Lori caring for her so that she was with family in her final years.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Lord of Life would be greatly appreciated.
