Kenneth was born December 4, 1928 in Kenosha, Wisconsin the Son of William and Josephine Meyer. Ken married Alice Ann Taff on August 11, 1951 in Kenosha, they had three children Mitch, Karla and Barbara.
Ken graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha in 1946. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War, and was a lifelong member of the American Legion and VFW.
Both Ken and his brother Bob proudly farmed Mink for over 45 years. Prior to retiring Ken and Alice lived in Somers, WI until 1974. Then, spent 20 years on the farm in Darien, WI before splitting time between homes in Dellwood, WI and Punta Gorda, FL.
He believed in the Catholic Church and rarely missed a Mass. Ken and Alice loved to travel and did so as health permitted. More than anything Ken was a social person who loved to be around family and friends. Ken enjoyed his friends at the coffee shop and American Legion in both Punta Gorda and Dellwood. Along with his Wisconsin friends at Oles, Spot in the Woods, and Lyons Club in his late years. Dad loved to dance and rarely missed an opportunity to do so. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, golfing and boating. He was a devoted and loving Father and Grandfather and will be dearly missed.

I enjoyed dancing with Ken at my wedding 30 years ago….so light on his feet and always a smile on his face. I thought of him often and enjoyed the time I was "part of the family", way back when.
To Karla, Mitch and the entire Meyer family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on your profound loss. Heaven seems a little closer as loved ones gather, but there is comfort in knowing that you will see each other again.
