Harriet Kennedy, age 92, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leos Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Harriet was born July 3, 1915 in Iselin, PA to Michael and Frances (Elicka) Wozniak. She grew up in Chicago, IL and married George Francis Kennedy on January 23, 1935. George and Harriet retired to Adams County in 1972. She was very active member of Adams-Friendship Senior Citizens Club. As a trip organizer, she and her husband traveled through out the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Harriet was a member of the Senior Citizens Council on Aging.
Harriet enjoyed square dancing, cards, fishing, bowling, and traveling. She was an active member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, a member of the choir and the PCCW.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinic.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Francis Kennedy; brother, Stanley Wozniak; sister, Rose Mohawk; and brother, Anthony Wozniak.
