LaVern M. Breezee

LaVern M. Breezee, age 70, of Adams formerly of Janesville, Wisconsin passed away after a short battle with brain cancer on March 17, 2011 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Big Flats Cemetery, Town of Big Flats, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

LaVern was born July 17, 1940 in Colfax, Wisconsin to Lloyd and Mae (Vine) Breezee.
He married Nancy S. Deuel on December 21, 1991 in Janesville, Wisconsin.
LaVern retired in 2003 after working for 35 years at General Motors in Janesville. He and Nancy then moved to their retirement home in Adams County.

LaVern enjoyed fishing and especially woodworking & spending his summers at the Adams Flea Market selling his wood crafts. He also loved to spend time with his nephew Riley.
He was a great friend and would always be there to lend a helping hand to all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Breezee; brother, Lyle Breezee; father& mother-in-law, Rolland "Blackie" & Marion Deuel.

Son: Steven (Robin) Breezee of Antioch, Illinois
Daughter: Debbie Antoine of Crystal Lake, Illinois
Daughter: Carol (Larry) Monson of Sheldon, Wisconsin
Step-Son: Michael Koel of Janesville, Wisconsin
Mother: Mae Breezee of Friendship, Wisconsin
Twin Brother: Leonard (Judy) Breezee of Big Flats, Wisconsin
Brother: LeRoy Breezee of Nekoosa, Wisconsin
Sister: Lana (Sylvester) Johnson of Adams, Wisconsin
Further survived by: several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his beloved Cat, Mickey Marvin

The family would like to thank the Staff at Villa Pines for all of their care and kindness.
