Violet R. Carlton

Violet R. Carlton, age 90, of Norco, California (formerly of Adams County) died February 20, 2007 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Andrew Eytzen will officiate. Interment will be at the Gould Rock Cemetery, Twp of New Chester, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Violet was born February 15, 1917 in Freemont, Wisconsin to James M. and Clara L. (Cooper) Wallace. She married Bertis F. Carlton on December 25, 1935 in Adams, Wisconsin. They lived in California for many years before moving to Missouri in 1991. Violet returned to California following the death of her husband.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bertis (1999); daughter, Bonnie; 3 sisters; and 6 brothers.

Violet is survived by one son Wayne (Janice) Carlton of Yuma, AZ
5 Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren

Sister-in-law: Helen Olson of Necedah, WI
Sister-in-law: Thelma Zimbeck of Bancroft, WI

    Aunt Violet wanted to live to be 90 years old, which made her the only Wallace to ever make it to their 90th Birthday,that we know of. When the time came Aunt Violet wanted to be in her own home on her own. she got her wish
