Phyllis Marjorie Price

Phyllis Marjorie Price, age 90, of King, Wisconsin (formerly of Adams) died Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2nd at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Ken Hanson will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be at Roseberry’s Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Phyllis was born October 2, 1916 in Adams to Henry and Cora (Barck) Ueker. She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School. After graduation, Phyllis attended training at the Cradle in Evanston, Illinois, to enable her to care for adopted babies. She married Robert V. Price on November 8, 1947 in Adams, Wisconsin. Phyllis worked at Adams County Memorial Hospital in Friendship for many years, retiring in 1980.

Phyllis enjoyed playing the piano, baking, sewing, serving her church, being a girl scout and cub scout leader when her children were young, teaching Sunday school, and helping those who needed her.

Phyllis was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #6279; Order of the Eastern Star, Wisconsin Rapids.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her Father, Henry Ueker; and Mother, Cora Ueker.

Granddaughter: Jennifer Murphy of Janesville, Wisconsin
Grandson: David (Jennifer) Murphy of Madison, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Courtney Price of Adams, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Melissa Price of Adams, Wisconsin

Phyllis was a friend to all and touched the hearts of many. She will be greatly missed.
