Age 43, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Cherry Meadows Hospice Residence. Jodi was born on July 17, 1964 to the late, Betty (Repta) Kukler in Chicago, Illinois. Jodi graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1982 and continued her education at Mid State Technical College, where she graduated in 1995. She worked as a Customer Service Representative for the Banta Corporation. Jodi enjoyed spending time with her aunt Julia, bowling, Nascar, gardening, weekend getaways, cooking, traveling to Door County, puzzles, board games, concerts and a variety of different music. She also loved her dog, Freedom, buying gifts for her nieces, burning candles no matter what the significance or value, and her favorite refreshment, Captain and Diet Coke. Jodi also enjoyed her favorite movie, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".
Jodi is lovingly survived by her fiancé, Gary DeKeyser of Kaukauna; brother, Michael (Debra) Kukler of Wisconsin Rapids, their children: Vaughan and Savannah; extended DeKeyser family: Marie (mom), Tina and John Siebers, Rick and Linda DeKeyser, Clint DeKeyser and fiancé, Martha Kurtz, Dan (Ellen) DeKeyser, Patricia (Salvator) DeMarco; cousins: Andrew and George Ritchie and the Ritchie family; friends: Brenda, Martha, Brian and Jen Frisque, Tim and Debbie Woods, David and Alice, her many coworkers at Banta Corporation and her special friend, Charlotte. Jodi is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Elizabeth Repta, aunt Julia and uncle Arthur Ritchie, and cousins: Sandy and Derrick Tolley.
Funeral services for Jodi will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Roseberry Funeral Home, Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Karyn Bodenschatz willofficiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. John Swanson, Mary Jo Murphy, the staff at the Martha Seikman Cancer Center and the staff at Cherry Meadows for all their care and support of Jodi.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
