Julia Ritchie, age 91, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Moundview Memorial Extended Care in Friendship, Wisconsin after a short illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Karyn Bodenschatz will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Julia was born April 10, 1916 in Big Flats, Wisconsin to John and Elizabeth (Bzudusek) Repta. She helped in the raising of her family following the death of her mother. Julia worked at Stewart-Warner in Chicago, IL during WWII. She met and married Arthur Ritchie on July 1, 1947 in Chicago, IL. They moved back to Adams County to the Repta Family farm in 1952. Julia worked in various restaurants in Adams County until her retirement in 1982.
Julia enjoyed gardening, cooking, gambling, and helping with the Ladies Auxiliary.
Julia was a member of the Adams VFW Post #6279 Ladies Auxiliary.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; daughter, Sandra; brother, John; sisters: Anne, Pauline, and Betty; and one grandson, Derek Tolley.

Great-Grandchild: Kassandra Iverson of Tomah, Wisconsin
Great-Grandchild: Kristopher Iverson of Tomah, Wisconsin
Brother: Jerry (Doris) Repta of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Brother: Roy Repta of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
