Jewel Marilyn Morgan

Jewel Marilyn Morgan, age 76, of Adams, Wisconsin died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Mr. Charles Nichols will officiate Friends may call at Roseberrys on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation will follow the traditional service with final interment at the Easton Cemetery, Town of Easton, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Jewel was born February 6, 1931 in Oak Park, Illinois to Harry Lee and Adeline Ruth (Ketchum) Nichols Sr. She moved to Adams County, Wisconsin in her junior year of high school and graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1949. Jewel married her high school sweetheart Milfred Thomas Morgan on July 24, 1951 in South Burr Oak Methodist Church. This marriage was blessed with five children. Jewel worked as the Easton Town Treasurer for 12 years and also worked as a teachers aid for the Adams-Friendship School District.

Jewel was a Girl Scout Leader for 8 years, past President of Easton Ladies Aide, and served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Easton Cemetery.

Jewel enjoyed working outdoors, tending to her garden and bird watching. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Jewel was preceded in death by parents, husband, Milfred (Sept. 26, 1985); and brother, Harry Nichols Jr.

Sister: Janice L. (Richard) Eberly of Friendship, Wisconsin
