Richard Foster

Richard Foster, age 73, of Waco, TX passed away Friday, March 18th, 2011.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 at the South Burr Oak Methodist Church. Chaplain Bob Linaberry-Charis will officiate. Friends may call at the Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Military Honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Richard was born January 15, 1938 in Decatur, IL to John and Lucille (Schoby) Foster. He served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1958. Richard worked at many places including, Pontiac Motors in Michigan, the US Postal Service, where he hauled mail for many years in the Coloma, WI area, and also hauled gas and diesel fuel.

Richard enjoyed traveling, fishing, and hunting.

He retired with his wife to Waco, TX in 2009, where he lived until the time of his death.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille S. Taylor (Schoby) and John Raymond Foster.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna Marie Foster (nee Cardo); three daughters: Elizabeth, Sandra, and Rose; brothers: Ray E. Foster of Adams, WI; and Jon Foster of Largo, FL; two sisters: Alice Dee ( Mueller) of Adams, WI; and Sally Jo (Mayo) of St. Augustine, FL. Further survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.

A special thanks to Michael James Hoover, who was like a son to him.
