Ora A. Bovee

Ora A. Bovee, age 84, of Plainfield, Wisconsin passed away surrounded by her family on May 31, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Plainfield, Wisconsin. Rev. Howard Kruzie will officiate. Interment will be at the Spencer Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Waupaca Wisconsin.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the church.

Ora was born January 26, 1925 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Clarence and Grace (Grover) Lester. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point in 1944. Following her graduation she was employed by the IRS in Chicago and Gates Rubber Company in Denver Colorado. Ora married Paul Bovee on December 20, 1947 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. This marriage was blessed with six children.

Outside raising her six children Ora enjoyed baking, cooking and reading, she read the bible 40 times.

Ora was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Plainfield for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Grace Lester
brother, Royal Lester; sister, Crystal Tracy; sister, June Blazak; and sister, Orelia Bashore.

Sons: John (Mari Anne) Bovee of Plainfield, Wisconsin; Jim (Teresa) Bovee of Nekoosa, Wisconsin; Joey Bovee of Glennallen, Alaska; Daughters: Jean Bovee of Mercedes, Texas; Jacqueline (John) Petruska of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; Julie Boerner – Bovee of Imperial, Missouri
Sister, Pearl (Art) Starr of Denver, Colorado; Grandchildren: Jimmy Jr., Jacques (Jamie), John III (Maggie), Diamantina, Jason, Tina, Jordan, Josie (Nick), Cameron, Jedediah, Lance & Yvonne; Great Grandchildren: Jaiden, Gavin, Zack, Ryan, Peyton, Garrett & Haley.

Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.
