Phyllis Baker, age 60, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away May 3, 2009 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Funeral services and visitation will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Doug Schauer will officiate.
Phyllis was born January 31, 1949 in Kennett, Missouri to Roy and Melba Howlett. She married William Baker on July 15, 1968 in Rockford, Illinois.
Phyllis loved the outdoors and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Roy Howlett and Step daughter, Laurie.
Survivors include Husband, William Baker of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Son, Donnie Baker of Friendship, Wisconsin; Daughter, Veronica Baker of Friendship, Wisconsin; Three step children:
Amy, Billy and Julie; 15 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; and Mother, Melba Howlett of Rockford, Illinois.

This is Veronica Baker, Phyllis daughter. I would like to thatlk everyone who attended the service and also those who sent cards,flowers and condolences. My mother was a great woman and will be truly missed. Heaven is a better place now that she is there. thank you again to everyone and god bless.
I enjoyed working with Phyllis at the Holiday Inn years ago. Your memories of the good times will see you through and seek God for comfort, He will not let you down. I have moved so cannot be at a service.
