James L. Wilke, Jr.

James L. Wilke Jr., age 68, of Bancroft, Wisconsin died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the St. Clare Hospital in Weston, Wisconsin following a heart attack.

Private family services are planned for a later date. Interment will be at the Spring Branch Cemetery, Town of Rome, Wisconsin

James was born July 5, 1942 in Seneca Township, Wood County, Wisconsin to James LeRoy Sr.and Violet E. L. (Jahnke) Wilke. He last worked at Cito Gas Station in Bancroft.

Jim enjoyed animals, especially cats. He also enjoyed salvaging metals.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Violet Wilke; sister, Sharon L. Wilke; brother, Leland L. Wilke; and infant brothers, Kenneth J. and Wallace W. Wilke.
