Jeanetta Ruth Wegert, age 92, of Friendship, Wisconsin died May 1, 2011 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be May 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams, Wisconsin. Rev. John Krebs will officiate.
Jeanetta was born September 1, 1918 in Cass Township, Indiana to John and Jessie (Wolff) Duddleston. She was the youngest of five children.
Jeanetta was the daughter of share croppers and spent her younger years in and around Logansport, Indiana. She was a member of the Church of the Bretheran and helped her husband with his restaurant and gas station. Jeanetta also spent many hours in volunteer work and was a Gray Lady.
She and Henry B. Wegert were married on April 27, 1947 in Logansport, Indiana. They had three children, Linda, Jay & Donna. In 1964, they moved to Adams, Wisconsin which was Henrys hometown. They joined Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams where she was a member for over 47 years. Jeanetta worked at the Adams Bakery and the Adams Theater for many years.
Jeanettas family would like to thank her many nieces & nephews who were so caring while she was a Villa Pines, and for the caring staff at Villa for tending to her needs.
Please remember Jeanetta for her quirky sense of humor, her wry smile and that twinkle in her eye. Her unwavering religious conviction and her philosophy that if you have a dollar in your pocket, you have 50 cents to share.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Henry Wegert; Daughter, Donna Sargent; and her three brothers & one sister.

Granddaughter: Carrie (Ken) Jentz of DeForest, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Sandy (Zac) Schupbach of DeForest, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Rebecca Eakins of Windsor, Wisconsin

we knew donna and her children and their children. we briefly knew Jeanetta when we lived in Wisc. as we now live in Texas. May she rest in peace. God Bless
Jeanetta was such a sweetheart. She always had the smile on the would spread to everyone around her. Dion and family you are in my thoughts. I miss her dearly!

Jeanetta was a very special friend to me, she had a wonderful outlook on life, a great sense of humor, always a big smile and loved a gentle hug. She had a sweet tooth and we shared many treats even on the day I retired at Villa Pines. My condolences to her family, she loved you all very much.
