James E. Anderson, age 87, of Adams, Wisconsin died November 10, 2009 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. Military honors will be presented by the Veterans Honor Guard of Adams County.
James was born February 11, 1922 in Warba, Minnesota. He served in WWII and Korea and was a decorated Veteran. He was awarded the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars and a Silver Star. In 1953 he married Maxine Johnson. Jim worked for Pre-Pakt Concrete Company until his retirement in 1987. He participated in projects such as the building of the Mackinac Bridge and followed his job around the country before settling with his family in the home he built in Adams, Wisconsin in 1961.
Jim enjoyed activities outside of work including hunting, woodcutting and various other outdoor activities. He was close to and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine and his son, Michael Anderson

Grandson: Craig Anderson of Centrailia, Washington
Grandson: Aaron Anderson of Fort Knox, Kentucky
Grandson: Scott Anderson of Fort Benning, Georgia
Granddaughter: Megan (Todd) Kautzer of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Monica Anderson of Middleton, Wisconsin
Great-grandson: Talan Ginter of Friendship, Wisconsin
Great-grandson: Zander Ginter of Friendship, Wisconsin
Extending our sympathy to Jims family and remembering the good times with him Alex and Pud at Skyline making snow. What fun we had with all our Skyline Friends and how few of us are left. Time passes things change but we are left with fond memories. May God Bless the Anderson family at this time at another change in their lives
