Gladys E. Hall

Gladys E. Hall, age 98, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Villa Pines Living Center in
Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Allison Janke will officiate. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Town of Lincoln, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Friends may call at Roseberry’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. on also on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Gladys was born December 21, 1912 in Adams County, Wisconsin to Royal C. and Birtha A. (Smith) Nelson. She grew up in Lincoln Township and attended Buckhorn School. She married George A. Hall on May 27, 1929 in Adams County, Wisconsin. They made their home near Grand Marsh, where they farmed and raised their family.

Gladys loved visiting with her friends, gardening, crafts, supporting her church, cooking for her family and friends, traveling, and spending time her family.

Gladys was a member Grand Marsh United Church of Christ and Grand Marsh Homemakers

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Royal C. and Birtha A. Nelson; husband, George A. Hall;
son, Clyde Hall; grandsons: Joseph Sauer, Kirk Corning, Frank Hall and Brian Zindler; sons-in-law: George Zindler and George Woodruff; and her brothers and sisters: Jess, Roy, Violet, Grace, Alice, Zeda, and Vina.

Son: George (Nancy) Hall of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin
Son: Bruce (Kathy) Hall of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin
Sister: Tressie Courter of Plainfield, Wisconsin
Further survived by many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many good friends.
