Harriet L. Reichhoff, age 85, of Adams, Wisconsin died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Friends may call at Roseberrys Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Cremation will follow the service with final interment at the Easton Cemetery at a later date.
Harriet was born May 21, 1926 in Madison, Wisconsin to Martin H. and Ethel Hansen. She was raised, with her family, in Adams, Wisconsin. Harriet graduated from Adams-Friendship High School and later attended Northwestern University. She married Harold Earl Stub Reichhoff on March 28, 1947 at the Adams Congregational Church. They were blessed with five children.
Harriet loved to bowl, fish, and golf. She enjoyed cooking as evidenced by her wonderful meals and her vast collection of cookbooks. Harriet also enjoyed reading mysteries and spending time with her family.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Ethel Hansen; father & mother-in-law, Harry and Leona Reichhoff; son, Marty Reichhoff; sister-in-law, Ruth Avis Komatz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ernie and Jeanette; and brother-in-law, Jack Hofbauer.
