Margaret Louise Bell, age 84, of Adams, Wisconsin died September 14, 2009 at St. Marys Care Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Internment will be at St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Margaret was born September 5, 1925 in Friendship, Wisconsin to William Burian and Mary Pratt. Following High School Graduation she worked in Milwaukee and then returned to Friendship and became the first Adams-Friendship High School secretary.
She married Stuart Bell on October 28, 1950 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Adams, WI. Margaret worked for the Agricultural and Soil Conservation Service Office in Adams. In 1959 she and Stuart opened Roche-A-Cri TV. They owned and operated that business for thirty years, until retirement. Stuart died in February of 1998. Margaret moved to Liberty Manor in January of 2005. She recently moved to Madison to be closer to her daughter.
Margaret was an active member of the Adams County Memorial Hospital Board, the Moundview Country Club Board and the St. Josephs Parish Council. She was involved with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Parish Council of Christian Women and the ACMH Auxiliary.
Margaret loved to be surrounded by her family and enjoyed playing golf. She loved music and watching sports.
