Robert "Bob" Wayne Hollman

Robert Wayne Hollman Bob, age 77, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. A time to share memories of Bob will be held from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin at a later date.

Bob was born May 1, 1934 in Adams, Wisconsin to Albert and Eva (Lish) Hollman. He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1952. On October 2nd 1952, Bob married Betty Oczachowski. Bob and Betty lived in De Forest, WI for 24 years. Bob was a crane operator for 45 years working for Findorff, Lunda, and Kraemer Brothers. Bob was a very proud member of Operating Engineers Union 139. He returned to Adams County in the mid-1970s. Bob retired from Lunda in 1998.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family at the local pubs. Bob was a proud joint owner of B&M Ranch in Wyoming. Bob could always be recognized by his immaculate truck.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Eva; brother, Gaylord; and grandson, Joseph W. Hollman.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Theis and Bill Spahn; son: Mike Hollman and Sissel James; Grandchildren: Heather Theis, Chad (Renata) Theis, Megan (Will) Bredeson, Brandy Hollman and Kris Hollman ; Great-Grandchildren: Makayla Raether, Ashtyn Hillestad, Ryli Theis, Karli Hollman, Monroe Hillestad, Tripp Theis, Balin Hillestad, and Blayne Bredeson; Sisters: Alice Roller, Carol Lyman, and Jeannie John.
Further survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his special friend Lela Hussey.

    Cheryl and Mike-Bob will be greatly missed by many in the community. He was always out & about to have his beverages. We had many together at the "Spot" as he would tell me how wonderful you two were. God bless.
