Howard F. Premo

Howard Francis Premo, age 86, of Coloma, Wisconsin died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Wild Rose Community Hospital in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. William Dow will officiate. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery, Coloma, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Howard was born September 24, 1925 in Coloma, Wisconsin to Louis and Elizabeth Amelia (Traver) Premo.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Navy from Jan. 1944 to April 1946 in the Pacific Theater on the U.S.S. Yorktown. Howard return to Wisconsin following the WWII, and worked as a Merchant Marine in the Great Lakes before returning to Coloma. He worked in road construction before becoming self-employed as a painter. Howard retired in 1985.

Howard enjoyed fishing and hunting, the outdoors, and sharing stories.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Elizabeth Premo; brothers: Norman (Nita) Premo, John (Lorraine) Premo; Richard (Violet) Premo; and brother, Harold Premo.

Sister: Arlene (Robert) Barnes of Coloma, Wisconsin
Further survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
