Millie V. Russell-Zychowizc

Millie V. Russell-Zychowicz, age 92, of Friendship, Wisconsin went home peacefully on January 22, 2012 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January
26, 2012 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Mark Stevens will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will
be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Millie was born June 30, 1919 in Woodruff, Wisconsin to Jacob and Reba Lambert.
She grew up in White Creek on the family farm and also went to school there.
She married Louie Russell on September 11, 1937 in Friendship. Together they raised their four children and their daughters five children. Louie passed away on May 8, 1979. She then married Joseph Zychowicz on June 22, 1990 in Adams.
Millie cared about the people around her and was always willing to help.
She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, embroidery and many other crafts.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Womens Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob & Reba Lambert; first husband, Louie Russell; second husband, Joseph Zychowicz; son, Richard Russell; daughter, Patricia Elwort-Page; brother, Harold Lambert; brother, Leo Lambert & sister, FayeDell York
Survivors:
Son: Ronald (Trixie) Russell of San Antonio, Texas
Son: Willis (Sandy) Russell of Mauston, Wisconsin
Daughter: Velnette Cavanaugh of Adams, Wisconsin
further survived by: many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

    So sorry to hear about Millie. Lila (Jim’s Mom) and her were room mates for years at Villa Pines. They shared many stories and gave each other support.
    We’ll miss seeing her, but she is resting in peace now.
