Hollis L. Brown, age 76, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away on January 21, 2012 at his home in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the
Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Mark Stevens will officiate. Interment will be at a later date at the Fish Lake Cemetery, Hancock, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Hollis was born on June 14, 1935 in Hancock, Wisconsin to Joseph and Viola (Spaulding) Brown. He grew up on the family farm in Hancock where he farmed for many years.
Hollis then enlisted with United States Army just prior to the Korean War and served during that time. He married Janet Payne on June 13, 1966 in Hancock, Wisconsin.
Hollis enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, taking care of his pets and animals. Telling stories and jokes to family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Brown; parents, Joseph & Viola Brown; brother, Joseph Brown; brother, Arliegh Brown; brother, Howard Brown; brother, George Brown; and sister, Betty Myers.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I’m glad Carl got to bring Hollis by my place to visit about 2 months ago. We had a nice visit that day. Nice to remember him so cheerful. He will be missed by many. Linda
