Charles Paul Zingler

Charles Paul Zingler, age 83, of Plainfield, Wisconsin passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at Heartland House in Wautoma, Wisconsin.

Charles was born May 11, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of Walter and Marie (Jackel) Zingler.  While in Milwaukee he worked at the printing trade, setting type by hand.  He moved to the Plainfield area in 1951.  He worked as a laborer helping farmers and for the Township of Plainfield on the road cutting brush and picking up stones.  Charles worked for the State of Wisconsin inspecting Bee Hives, for Manley Plumbing, Rothermel Truck & Bus as a janitor.  Charles married Thelma (Leach) Ueeck on October 25, 1975.  He then worked the last 17 years before retiring for Kelly Sand and Gravel crushing gravel and driving truck.  After retirement he donated blood whenever he could, giving over 6 gallons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Charles leaves to mourn his beloved wife, six step-children, nine step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

No services are planned.

We wish to thank the Green Lake Hospice, the staff at Heartland House CBRF for the wonderful care they gave Charles, also for all our friends and family for cards and condolences, his wife and family.
