Linda J. Jacobs

Linda J. Jacobs, age 62, of Westfield, Wisconsin passed Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her home.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the South Burr Oak United Methodist Church in Coloma, Wisconsin.   Rev. Candy Lisiecki will officiate.  Interment will be at the South Burr Oak Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home, 512 Main St. Friendship, WI and again on Monday at the South Burr Oak United Methodist Church from 12 Noon until the time of service.

Linda was born July 10, 1949 in Boscobel, Wisconsin to Roy H. and Margaret D. (Beeckler) Retzlaff.   She graduated from Mt. Horeb High School in 1967.  Linda worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield and the V.A. Hospital in Madison where she met her future husband, Henry Jacobs on a blind date.  She married Henry on August 11, 1972 in South Burr Oak United Methodist Church, Coloma, WI.  Linda and Henry lived 30 years one-half mile from the church.  Since their marriage, Linda and Henry have been business partners in real estate, livestock, trucking and life.  In February of 2001, they moved to Springfield Township and built the home of their dreams.

Linda enjoyed antiquing, collecting, the Packers, gardening, cooking, animals, baking, her friends and family, and traveling.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy H. and Margaret D. Retzlaff.

Brother:  Patrick (Lynette) Retzlaff of Hayward, Wisconsin
Nephew: Benjamin Retzlaff
Sister:  Jerilin (Peter) Gregouire of Oxford, Wisconsin
Nephews: Lhogan and Jacy Gregouire
Further survived by other relatives and friends.
