Ernest William Kloth, age 72, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Monday, July 16, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.
Services will also be held in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin at a later date. Interment will be at the Washington Cemetery, Waterloo, Wisconsin.
Ernest was born June 26, 1940 in Aurora, Illinois to James William and Catherine Augusta (Atkinson) Kloth. He married Dianna Conklin on June 27, 1965 in Antioch, Illinois. Ernest worked at International Harvester in Libertyville, Illinois for 25 years, and later retired from Sta Rite Industries in 2000. He and Dianna then moved to Friendship, WI where he come up over the past 40 years for hunting and weekends.
Ernest enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapshooting, darts, and horseshoes. Ernest and Dianna especially enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and spoiling them.
Ernest was a member for over 30 years to each of the following hunting and gun clubs: NRA, Powers Lake Sportsmen Club, Ducks Unlimited, and Pheasant Forever.

Ernest was preceded in death by his father, James Kloth; mother, Catherine Atkinson; wife, Dianna Kloth;
brother, Robert Kloth; and sister, Nancy Kloth.

Ernie and I worked together for 23 years at International Harvester for 23 years, we trap shot together at Powers Lake. We both worked for Sta-Rite, and we both retired from there. He was a great guy and I will miss him.

We were so sorry to see that Ernie had died. We enjoyed seeing and talking with him. Roger just talked to Tony not to long ago. Thank you for the picture of your son, Stacy. We had some great times with Ernie on our hunting and fishing trips. I’ll never forget him cracking up the day I thought I had a monster fish and it ended up being a rock! Ernie was nice enough to have that rock mounted for all to see. You will be missed buddy.
I met and enjoyed Ernie at the Old Mill Bar, he was a good guy. The look on his face this year when he won the super bowl strip card was awesome!!!RIP Ernie.
