William L. Moore

William Lane Moore, age 85, of Monroe Center, Wisconsin died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

Memorial services are planned for a later date.

William was born June 16, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to George T. and Adeline B. (Tulloch) Moore.  He was served in the US Navy.  William married Jane M. Bartholomew on November 18, 1950 in Evanston, IL.   The couple made their home in Wheeling, IL and he worked for the Evanston Fire Department.  He retired in 1981, and William and Jane then moved to Monroe Center, Wisconsin.

William was a member of Monroe Center Community Church in Monroe Center, Wisconsin.

William was preceded in death by his parents, George T. and Adeline B. Moore; wife, Jane; three brothers:  Jim, George and Robert and one sister, Patricia.

Daughter, Christine (Moore) Rendant (husband Kurt Rendant)
Two grandchildren:  Amy Schimmel (husband Ryan Schimmel), William Ryan Tavenner (wife Jeanie Hilgenberg Tavenner)
Sister-in laws:  Nancy Miller Perkis and Carol Moore
Two sisters: Cathy Frantz(husband Jim) of Wheeling, Il and Lynn Sieroslawski (husband Terry) of Florida
Brother-in-law: Charles Bartholomew (Wife Susie) Denver, CO.
And many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews
