Ronald E. Faehnel, age 65, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Oshkosh Aurora Medical Center.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of service.
Ron was born December 15, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Walter and Elizabeth (Whinesneider) Faehnel. He graduated from Pius High School in Milwaukee in 1967. Ron married Renee Johnson on December 3, 1977 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Ron worked A.O. Smith in Milwaukee for 30 years, retiring in May of 2000. Ron and Renee then moved to Grand Marsh.
Ron enjoyed playing cards and watching the Packers.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law.

Grandchild: Jacob Martin of Watertown, Wisconsin

Brother: Walter “Kenneth” (Anne) Faehnel of Florida

My sympathies are with you. I worked with Ron at Ho-Chunk. We always joked that he was my second husband, because I saw him more that my real husband. Ron was always a good partner to work with, and a good friend to take a break with. He will be missed by many.
